Reading Scripture in Chinese and English

SHARING SCRIPTURE ACROSS LANGUAGES

Have you ever read Scripture in a second language? Until December 2024, the USCCA sold bilingual Bibles to help believers and seekers alike encounter Scripture through English and Chinese translations of ancient Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. This resource is no longer available, but we invite and encourage our supporters to seek out and explore opportunities to experience God's word through English and Chinese translations of Scripture.

Traditional Chinese characters constitute the official writing system of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Many Chinese who grew up in Malaysia and Singapore are also familiar with traditional characters.

During the late 1950s and 1960s, simplified Chinese characters were introduced in the People’s Republic of China. Citizens raised in the PRC, Singapore, and Malaysia are familiar with simplified characters.
